As an expert in chemistry formulations and materials, Dr. Marta Pazos is a revered member of the AJG Packaging team. Dr. Marta has more than 15 years of experience in consumer product formulations; with a special focus in cosmetics, skin, and personal care. She has held positions of increasing responsibility across diverse industries and geographies at Ashland Chemicals, Procter & Gamble, Estee Lauder and most recently The Coca-Cola Companies. Dr. Marta’s passion for protecting the environment has resulted in her being an in-demand advisor for the US Army and Navy, VCs and Investors, as well as the US Government under DPA Title III.

Dr. Marta is adept at product and package development, testing protocols and analysis of results, equipment selection, qualification of raw ingredients, materials and finished products, consumer research, and sustainable development. To select the perfect packaging, she always ensures that the materials and processes are chosen upfront to eliminate potential compatibility issues and mechanical failures.

As a native of Spain, she completed a BSc. in Chemistry, specializing in Organic and Physical Chemistry, and an MS from the CSIC (superior council of Sciences) in Polymer Science and Technology. After moving to the US as a Fulbright Scholar, Dr Marta graduated with a Ph.D. in Polymer Science from the University of Akron, OH.
